CLOTHES DON’T MAKE THE SAINT

COME FOR A DRESS, DISCOVER A PALACE!

From 23 to 25 October, the Coffee House of Palazzo Colonna hosted three days devoted to clothes, details and make-up advice. The event has ended.

From 23 to 25 October 2026, a walk through Rome could lead into a fashion presentation inside a palace. The Morfosis event at the Coffee House of Palazzo Colonna has ended; this page keeps the information announced by the organisers.

The 23–25 October event

Morfosis presented Alessandra Cappiello’s Im-Perfection (17) autumn/winter 2026/27 collection at the Coffee House of Palazzo Colonna. It was scheduled for 23–25 October, 11am–7pm, at Piazza SS. Apostoli 67, second floor. Turismo Roma listed free entry without booking and personalised make-up advice with Simona Augieri.

The presentation ended on 25 October and took place in the Coffee House. There is an idea to take to the next fashion event: get closer to the clothes, look at the finishing and ask the question a photograph cannot answer.

A trunk show? You can simply be curious

The term describes a close-up collection presentation. You do not need expert fabric knowledge or a purchase in mind. Look, ask questions and work out what interests you. Any fittings or purchases follow the organiser’s arrangements.

Give yourself a small mission: find one detail you would miss on a screen. A collar’s underside, a sleeve joining a shoulder, a button changing a jacket’s character. You do not have to judge everything. Just stop at something.

Look before you photograph

A make-up idea that remains useful

For a future short consultation, it can help to prepare a specific question: how to add colour to the eyes quickly, or how to distribute blush more evenly. Explaining the time available and what you already use makes the advice easier to fit into everyday life.

A make-up question to take with you

For brief advice, prepare a specific question: how to add colour to your eyes quickly, or distribute blush more evenly. Explain your morning routine and what you already use. Ask about the gesture and amount, rather than leaving with an automatic shopping list. Mention known sensitivities before a product trial.

Leave with one idea

Choose one thing to remember: a colour beside your coat, a proportion to try with your shirt, a small gesture at the mirror. Then have a coffee and continue your walk. Fashion can mean looking differently at what you already own. No shopping bag required.
