CLOTHES DON’T MAKE THE SAINT

CLOTHES DON’T MAKE A SAINT. A SIZE DOESN’T DEFINE YOU!

Sit, move and inspect the details in the fitting room. Clothes should fit your life as well as a photograph.

A trench coat and jeans

The button strains, the pocket gapes and lifting your arms feels difficult. Before blaming your body, try another size or cut. The label’s number does not tell you how a garment must fit.

Try it in motion

Walk, sit, bend and move your arms without forcing. Check fastenings, pockets and strained fabric. Clothes should allow the movements you need them for.

Inspect zips, buttons, seams and matching patterns. The lining matters, too: does it follow your movement and feel comfortable?

Labels inform, but cannot answer everything

European rules specify textile-fibre labelling. Composition alone cannot describe weight, weave and finishes. Feel the fabric and read washing instructions: caring for a garment is part of buying it.

Online, use that product’s measurement chart and read return conditions. The same size may fit differently between brands.

From runway to wardrobe

Prada’s spring–summer 2027 collection includes Velcro, crystal embroidery and cotton paired with leather and suede effects. It is a future collection; not everything is already available. Borrow a styling idea and combine it with what you own.

Before paying, imagine a real occasion and an outfit using your clothes. Can you move comfortably? Do you know how to wash it? Those answers matter more than squeezing into a size.
