SCARF, MATCH TICKET… AND A PACK OF PASTA! JUVE–LAZIO HELPS FAMILIES IN NEED

A scarf, a ticket and room for a shared gesture. The collection announced for Juventus–Lazio on 18 October belongs to an effort continuing towards Italy’s 14 November Food Collection Day.

Packaged food for a food bank.

Juventus and Banco Alimentare del Piemonte announced a special collection outside Allianz Stadium for Juventus–Lazio on 18 October 2026. That date has passed: the collection-point details below refer to that evening, not a new event.

Meet the volunteers before the turnstiles

The announced collection points were at Gates B, C, D, F, G and K. Supporters were invited to hand their donations to the volunteers there. There is no need to assemble an enormous parcel: choose something from the requested list and bring it along with your enthusiasm for the match.

What goes in the bag?

The list includes coffee, long-life milk, oil, pasta, biscuits, fruit juice and stock cubes. Tinned vegetables, tuna and meat are also requested, along with fruit or chicken baby food.

Check packaging and dates before leaving home: products must be unopened, undamaged, in date and non-perishable. Organisers prefer containers other than glass. Buying something specifically to donate is welcome too: giving is about more than clearing a cupboard.

Support beyond the final whistle

The club’s ongoing work with Banco Alimentare includes recovering surplus food from the stadium’s bars and restaurants. The announcement also included donations from Juventus partners.

The collection forms part of the build-up to Italy’s 30th National Food Collection Day on Saturday 14 November. Not going to the match? That is another date to remember: participating supermarkets will offer shoppers the chance to buy an extra item and hand it to volunteers.

In John’s Gospel, before the multiplication of the loaves, a boy has five loaves and two fish (6:9). Sharing begins with something a person makes available. In the plan for 18 October, that shared gesture could take the very ordinary shape of a packet of pasta.
