THERE IS A WHOLE TEAM INSIDE YOUR FOUNDATION!
You press the pump. Before that gesture, someone worked on the formula, bottle and machinery. Bergamo’s beauty fair opened a window on that work.

It is eight o’clock and you have very little time. Press the bottle, blend a little colour, go. Foundation enters the day through a tiny gesture. Before arriving in your bathroom, though, it has passed through decisions, hands and processes we rarely see. Let’s look behind the mirror.
Bergamo hosted Beauty to Business Summit and Polo Innovation Day on 21–22 October 2026. Promoberg’s 22 October report describes the Factory: seven companies collaborating on a foundation, with the resulting product given to visitors. It was one concrete demonstration of a supply chain, not a universal manufacturing model.
Seven companies behind one gesture
Adecco, Cosmetec, Delta Service Automation, Grafiche IMP, IDM Automation, Lumson and Sales: seven companies involved in Bergamo’s demonstration. Behind the quick press of a pump are people working on different stages of production and packaging.
Clio and the work beyond the tutorial
Clio Zammatteo was announced as patron of the opening day: a familiar face for tutorial fans at an event revealing beauty’s less visible work. October’s fair has ended, but next time we press a foundation pump we can better picture the hands behind it.
Look at how you use the bottle
At your next trial, notice more than the shade. Can you open and close the packaging easily? Does the pump release the amount you want? Would the closure suit your everyday bag? These ordinary questions may be less glamorous than a campaign, but they matter to your routine.
If your current foundation works for you, keep it. Observe what you already own. Which gesture is easy and which is frustrating? Do you use too much because too much comes out? Understanding that helps make your next choice more concrete.
Three questions before falling for a promise
First, what result do I actually want? Light coverage and a very uniform finish are different requests. Second, what supports the claim? A brand description, a test and your experience on your face are different kinds of evidence. Third, can I see the product in conditions closer to my actual day, rather than only under shop lighting?
Ask for a suitable shade trial and look in natural light when possible. Take time to decide whether you like it. A formula your friend loves may not deliver the experience you want.
Beauty has this face too
Next time you pick up foundation, look at the bottle too: pump, cap and ease of use. Someone thought about those details. A little object in the bathroom can reveal a lot of work if you give it another moment.
