After years of rock with the band, Damiano has chosen to tell his story through more intimate songs of his own.
For years, the world knew him as Måneskin’s voice: Eurovision, stadiums and guitars at full volume. Then Damiano David decided to challenge himself on his own. FUNNY little FEARS, his first solo album, came out on 16 May 2025.
Little fears, big songs
The title already says a lot: “funny little fears”. Songs such as Born With a Broken Heart and Next Summer are softer than Måneskin’s rock and speak of vulnerability, love and the desire to start again.
The courage to change
Starting from scratch is not easy when everyone knows you for just one thing. Damiano tried anyway. Perhaps there is a lesson for us too: you can take a different path without ceasing to be yourself.
