SPOTIFY CHALLENGES YOU: CAN YOU RECOGNISE THE COVER?
A cover, a few seconds and the urge to guess. Music Quiz is arriving in selected countries: here is why you may not see it yet.
You recognise a song instantly, then freeze at its album cover. That little gap between listening and knowing is what makes a music quiz fun.
Since 6 October 2026 Spotify is gradually rolling out Music Quiz, with questions, covers and songs to identify. Initially it is in English, for adult Premium subscribers, in a few countries including the United Kingdom. Italy and Spain are not yet included.
If your app does not show it
Spotify suggests updating the app and looking below a track in the playback screen. First check country and eligibility: a foreign tutorial may show something unavailable where you are.
A wrong answer? A reason to listen!
Missed an album? Open it and hear the track after the one you know by heart. Or challenge a friend: choose an album each and find three interesting details in the credits.
