Carlo Acutis beyond the holy card: three ways to know him
A biography puts dates in order. Here we begin with questions: who knew him, what was at the centre of his life, and how can we explore his story further?

1. Listen to people before slogans
A friend, a teacher, someone he helped: testimonies reveal a boy with relationships, interests and concrete choices. Reading a memory also means asking who tells it and what experience it comes from.
Our biographical article attributes memories to the people who shared them and links to the sources. Start with one testimony, then open the original interview.
2. Understand why the Eucharist was central
The computer is the part of his story that immediately catches attention. To understand Carlo, we also need to look at what he devoted that interest to: sharing his faith and his love of the Eucharist.
Take a question into your reading: how do his spiritual life and concern for others connect? Looking for that connection helps us read his story beyond the label “Internet saint”.
3. Explore the exhibition thoughtfully
The exhibition on Eucharistic miracles is a doorway into his work. Read its panels in their religious context, distinguishing documents, testimonies and recognition by the Church.
Choose a panel that interests you. Read its account and check the sources it gives: deeper reading begins with the questions that remain.
