Five movies in a year. Première, travels, interviews, photographs. Then Anne Hathaway sits in front of the camera and, with a small special effect, disappears into a cloud of smoke. The chair remains empty. The message comes very well: for a while, it's time to stop.

The video shared on Instagram on October 2 resumes a joke made during the promotion of Verity: concluded the commitments, it would disappear in a cloud of smoke. In the movie the promise becomes a scene, with someone looking for it and pretending titles about its disappearance.

The find tells with irony the desire to take a break after a period of great public exposure. It is not an announcement of withdrawal from the cinema.

A child coming and the desire to stop

Anne Hathaway is awaiting her third child with her husband Adam Shulman. The couple already have two children, Jonathan and Jack; the new pregnancy was announced in June.

At Verity's New York première, the actress told her that she could stop her professional engagements for the rest of the year and dedicate herself to motherhood, expressing gratitude for this possibility.
